Reset your brain. Reclaim your mind.
A private, serene sanctuary in Mexico where traditional healing meets modern medicine—combining root-cause care with advanced medical oversight and hospital-grade safety.
Why traditional treatment so often falls short
Standard programs frequently rely on long-term pharmaceutical maintenance, or expect you to “white-knuckle” through cravings, Post-Acute Withdrawal Syndrome and deep-seated trauma. We look beyond surface-level symptom management.
The relapse cycle repeats
Although valuable and essential to recovery, individual and group talk therapy, as found in all traditional treatment, does not correct brain chemistry, which is affected by long-term emotional and substance problems.
The relapse cycle repeats
The new direction in substance abuse treatment, for instance, is toward relational restoration and wholeness; by building supportive relations with staff and peers, our patients increase substantially their prospects for continuing recovery.
The relapse cycle repeats
Many people complete rehab more than once, only to return to old patterns when the underlying causes go unaddressed.
Ibogaine therapy is not a cure and is not right for everyone — eligibility is determined through careful medical screening.
A careful, personal assessment
How Ibogaine Is Proving To Reset The Mind & Body
This naturally occurring plant medicine is now beingstudied…and should be administered only…
01
Neurochemical reset
Showing promise in restoring neuroreceptors toward their pre-dependency baseline, easing a significant portion of acute physical withdrawal and cravings — often within hours.
02
Neuroplasticity & repair
Research suggests it may upregulate growth factors such as GDNF and BDNF — proteins that act like “fertilizer” supporting the repair and strengthening of neural pathways.
03
Deep processing
Facilitates a deeply introspective, dream-like state that can allow people to view and process root causes of distress and trauma with greater objectivity.
Not one-size-fits-all. Built around you.

What people ask before they come
Is ibogaine safe?
Ibogaine interacts directly with the cardiovascular system, so it should never be taken outside a strict clinical setting. It must only be administered with continuous heart (EKG) monitoring and licensed medical professionals present. At New Path we maintain hospital-grade protocols, pre-screening and emergency readiness to protect your safety at every stage.
How long is the stay at your clinic in Mexico?
Standard addiction, mental-health and neuro-optimization programs typically range from 7 to 10 days. Long-acting synthetic opioids such as Methadone or Suboxone require an extended medical transition of 12 to 14+ days to ensure safety and the best possible results.
How much does treatment cost?
Cost depends on the program, length of stay and level of medical care required. A coordinator will walk you through a personalized, all-inclusive quote during your confidential consultation — with no obligation. Treatment scholarships may be available for eligible veterans.
What conditions do you treat?
We provide specialized tracks for substance dependency (opioids, fentanyl, alcohol, stimulants), mental-health conditions such as anxiety, depression and PTSD, and neurological optimization including Parkinson’s and TBI — alongside a dedicated veterans program. Eligibility is always confirmed through medical screening.
What does aftercare include?
Healing doesn’t end when the session does. Dedicated integration specialists help you process your insights and build an actionable, sustainable aftercare plan to support you long after you return home.
Will my insurance cover treatment?
Because ibogaine is not FDA-approved and treatment is provided in Mexico, most U.S. insurance plans do not cover it. Our coordinators can discuss self-pay options, financing and — for eligible veterans — scholarship support.
